Merrimack Votes App Design

When it came to this project, the goal was to pick a topic that was related to Merrimack College and design an app around it. The topic I chose to create an app around was Voting on Campus. I created a Google Form that had some questions to see how much info that they were able to. get from the school and to see if they felt like they had a voice on what happened on campus. This lead me to wanting to design an app that allowed people to learn about information that is happening around campus, take surveys to help the college make decisions on certain topics, and then allow students to make suggestions for the college to consider.

I wanted to keep the design simple and understandable. I wanted to make sure that people knew how to navigate the app and find what they are searching for. Non-user friendly interfaces are always irritating to use so. I wanted to make sure people could navigate the app simply.

Since the app is a theoretical app designed for Merrimack College, I wanted to. make sure the colors used went with the school and overall had a feel that would fit the school.
