Boston Boxed Bread Logo/Brand Identity
For this project, I developed a logo and brand identity for the fictional company Boston Boxed Bread. Through this project, I was able to envision not only a visual brand but also what kind of “vibe” and values the company itself would exhibit. This way, it would challenge me to think about all the pieces that would go into the identity and how it would support the brand narrative.
Boston Boxed Bread is a company that sells organic bread and various other baked goods. They also focus on the environmental impact they make to make sure that the bread is not harmful in any way. The materials used are recycled, up-cycled, or reusable. Boston Boxed Bread, as I imagined it would sell its goods in a boutique-style bakery in which they can interact with customers.
With this in mind, I went with more of a green color scheme and wanted to make sure that the logo felt organic. Green is associated with the environment and ecology, making it fit with the company’s goals. Since the company sells bread and other baked goods a logo resembling wheat helps to signify that in the brand.
As I developed each component I kept in mind all of this to build a cohesive and memorable identity. These deliverables include letterhead, business card, business envelope, a webpage, and uniforms.
